Who is Lorena

Well, let me introduce myself. I graduated from McGill University with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, but when at McGill, I took art history classes, sculpture and pottery whenever I could. After graduating, I worked in a community organization and met a wonderful man who I married at the age of 23. By 25, I was expecting my first bundle of joy, my first son. At the age of 26, a second bundle of joy, another boy and two years later, a little beautiful girl. Needless to say, I was busy, but I needed to get the creative juices going again.

It all started one holiday when I was determined not to use gift bags (nothing wrong with gift bags!) and got creative. I used tins, colorful ribbons and ornaments. My family and friends were wowed. They didn’t care what was inside they simply appreciated the beautiful wrapping. They encouraged me to consider turning this talent in to a business.

I then decided to approach some of the best event planners in the city to show them my work. I soon found myself working on some pretty interesting projects and my wrappings soon evolved in to making custom stationery. I enjoyed meeting clients all over the city, but I dreamed of one day having my own boutique where I could meet my clients in a beautiful inspirational space.

That dream has now become a reality and I am excited to share my boutique with you.
